APPA’S Australasian Marketing & Membership Manager has been recognised by the prestigious 15th annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business with four awards including the Gold Stevie for Female Executive of the Year.
MELBOURNE, November 19, 2018 -Ky Wilson, Marketing & Membership Manager of APPA, the largest and most influential promotional products association in Australasia, has been recognised by the prestigious 15th annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business with the Gold Female Executive of the Year award. Additionally, Ky was recognised with a Silver Stevie Award for Female Innovator of the Year, a Bronze Stevie Award for Woman of the Year and finally a Bronze Stevie Award for Most Innovative Woman.
The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honour women executives, entrepreneurs, employees, and the companies they run– worldwide. The Stevie Awards have been hailed as the world’s premier business awards.
More than 1,500 entries were submitted this year for consideration in categories, including Executive of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Company of the Year, Start up of the Year, Women Helping Women, and Women Run Workplace of the Year. Ky won her awards in the Not for Profit/Government sector.
APPA CEO Steve Granland said “Ky being named as the Female Executive of the Year in the Stevie Awards is fantastic and deserved recognition of her passion, determination and absolute focus on the highest standards in driving positive and influential marketing and communications change at APPA. APPA Vice President Robert Williams congratulated Ky by saying “Ky’s dedication and passion to increasing the awareness and membership of our industry association has been the forefront of the new direction for APPA. Two and a half years ago APPA took a strategic new direction under the guidance of a new CEO and board, Ky has been there since that commencement and has increased APPA’s exposure and membership base. Ky’s fantastic commitment, direction and her bubbly personality has allowed our membership base to grow consecutively over the past few years, and our members are more engaged now than ever. Ky stated “To be named Female Executive of the Year and win silver for Female Innovator and bronze in two other categories is such an honour for me and the judge’s feedback was so heart-warming and insightful in regard to what I can do next year to up my game.
