Peta Imber is the Principal of The Deptford Group Pty Ltd, an organization which prides itself on its work with small to medium enterprises in Greater Western Sydney in the fields of business planning, strategic marketing, communication, and administrative support services. Peta’s experience has spanned over 20 years as a service marketer primarily in the hospitality and not-for-profit sectors.
Working closely with owners, directors, management teams, and marketers of SME’s, Peta builds sustainable business, marketing, and communication solutions for organizations through revenue, customer, or membership growth. Critical to the success of an organization is the ongoing development its employees, she achieves this through customised training, coaching and mentoring services.
Peta’s experience has covered many industries including; Hotels, Registered and Licensed Clubs, Casinos, Animal Care & Recreation, Health & Fitness, and Medical Services; each being a service provider reliant on a services approach to business planning and marketing with high levels of B2C and C2C communication and interaction.
Peta has a passion for developing and supporting others in their careers. Having had an incredible support network and inspirational mentors as a young practitioner, she firmly believes it is her role to assist others to allow for their professional growth and success.
Peta is also Deputy Chair of both Assisted Community Living Limited and Assisted Community Living Foundation Limited (ACL Disability Services). ACL Disability Services is a not for profit organization that provides support to people with mild to moderate learning disabilities. They specialise in promoting independent living skills and social integration for people with disabilities within the community and promote the rights of every person with disability.
