Senior Marketing Monitor 2018: Queensland

It was an absolute pleasure to MC, as Queensland State Chair on behalf of the Australian Marketing Institute, the 2018 Marketers Update. The Annual Senior Marketing Monitor is a joint collaborative undertaking between the AMI and Colmar Brunton, providing a special focus on key digital trends.

Thank you to Clare Hampel, Senior Research Director at Colmar Brunton, on your superb presentation, providing insights into the sentiment of the priorities of senior marketers, as well as the marketing challenges businesses face.

One of the attendees, Tristan Williams, shared: “Last night I was privileged enough to attend my first ever AMI Queensland Senior Marketing Monitor. As an aspiring Marketing and PR professional, I found the event to be invaluable as I heard about statistics ranging back the last 10 years, and the important rise of digital trends from a panel of amazing professionals. I was also taken back by the fact that Marketers across all sectors are feeling less confident in their organisation’s prioritisation of Marketing. This important part of any business should never be understated and should be celebrated for the immense difference it makes to any organisation’s bottom line and growth. Thank you to the Queensland Chair of AMI, Demetri Hughes for the invitation and for allowing me to be a part of the evening. Also, massive shout out to Colmar Brunton for partnering with AMI on this amazing event.”

Special thank you to our outstanding panel of industry experts, who generously gave of their time to provide their insights and perspectives:

I also cannot begin to thank enough our incredible Queensland State Committee for all of their assistance, I am incredibly privileged to serve alongside such talent – Keith Stanley, Maria Anderson, Tracey Mesken, Sandra O’Neill, Marzena Baker, Glenn Smith, Jessica Hamilton, Holly Hooper, Kate Smith, Michelle Fragar and Courtney Mulder.

Thank you to the entire Colmar Brunton team, Michael Page, Lee Tonitto and Maree Taylor for supporting.
