Meet our CMO Patrons

Each AMI state committee operates with a Patron – a senior marketer in their state. We caught up with some of them to learn more about who they are and why they’re partnering with AMI.

“Having spent over 15 years in the industry I am excited to see the prevalence of marketeers having a strong voice in shaping business strategy and influencing its direction. With the rise of digital technologies and disruptive forces impacting all industries I believe it is important for the marketing community to stay relevant as change agents in our field of influence. Taking the role of the CM patron for AMI, NSW enables me to support Lee and her team to educate, shape and influence change to ensure we all stay ahead of our game. It is through communities like the AMI that ideas are created and I was thrilled at the opportunity to be part of the journey to build a future fit marketing community.”

Caroline Patrick | General Manager, Marketing and Strategic Relationships | Police Health

“Being asked to be Patron for the AMI in South Australia is an honour. I have been actively involved with the Institute for over a decade. It’s been valuable to me in my career and it’s been a pleasure to give back as a mentor for the Emerging Marketers program, a judge of the Marketing Awards for Excellence a presenter and now a Patron. It’s important that senior marketers around Australia give value to the CPM status by becoming one, promoting these credentials and demonstrating that marketing is a profession with trusted qualifications attached.”

Caroline is General Manager of Marketing and Strategic Relationships at the Police Health Group, most recently leading the brand development, stakeholder engagement and go to market plans for Australia’s newest private health fund, Emergency Services Health.

She is also a director with scosa, an organisation that develops and promotes the potential of people with disabilities, a respite foster carer with Time for Kids and is completing an MBA.

Caroline won the Australian Marketing Institute Certified Practising Marketer of the Year Award in 2015 for her work on the Bendigo Bank brand revitalisation, ‘Bigger than a bank’.  Caroline’s philosophy is ‘everyone has the time, no matter how small, to make a positive difference in someone’s life’.
