AMI Member Spotlight: Renee Davidson

Renee is the General Manager of Marketing at RACQ, Queensland’s largest mutual, with 1.67 million members.

RACQ offers services including assistance, insurance, travel and member benefits, and recently launched a member-owned bank – RACQ Bank, for which Renee worked with the business to shape the brand and marketing strategy.

Renee has over 19 years’ marketing experience and a background across banking, wealth management and insurance, with a proven track record in building and leading high-performance marketing teams to deliver true results for customers, the organisation and shareholders.

Prior to her role at RACQ, Renee worked on leading brands in Australia and the UK including Commonwealth Bank, BT Financial Group, Royal Bank of Scotland and ANZ Global Wealth.

Renee has a Master’s degree in Business Economics majoring in Marketing Strategy, and an undergraduate degree in Business majoring in Communications.

In late October, Renee was appointed as the Australian Marketing Institute’s Queensland Patron. She also sits on the UQ Business School Marketing Industry Advisory Board.

“I am pleased to be more actively involved in our professional industry body and supporting the Australian Marketing Institute’s focus on quality tertiary education, upskilling of marketers and recognition of industry best practice”, Renee says.
