The Australian Marketing Institute is pleased to announce the Australian Marketing Institute voting for Member Directors is now open.
The election is held to determine five Member elected Directors for the Australian Marketing Institute Board of Directors. This means Australian Marketing Institute Members are able to have a say in who will represent their interests at the national level.
Financial members holding the status of Fellows or Members are eligible to vote in the election.
The voting platform is NOW open and can be accessed here.
To log in, simply input your member ID and your email. If unsure, you can contact the AMI team to have your member ID checked.
We are pleased to advise the important dates are as follows:
- 8 August – Opening of election polls for voting
- 22 August – Close of election polls
- 23 August – Announcement of election results; New Director induction commences
- 18 October – Annual General Meeting (AGM) – New Board will be effective from the conclusion of the AGM.
Votes will be validated against membership records by Returning Officer. Votes will be tallied electronically and audited by the Returning Officer. Members are required to include their full name and membership number and be in good financial standing with the AMI in order for the vote to be valid. The primary member identification used will be member number, a unique identifier.
The Board of Directors is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the Institute, ensuring its financial viability and managing the risk associated with the activities of the Institute. The Board is also responsible for ensuring that the AMI fulfils its legal and financial obligations.
