Sonia Casanova is an owner / director at The Articulate Pear, a boutique marketing, digital and design agency based in regional New South Wales. Having previously held senior roles in the tourism, aviation and financial services industries, Sonia is now focused on assisting organisations in regional Australia achieve their goals through effective planning and marketing.

With over twenty years’ experience in marketing and business development roles, Sonia has a depth of knowledge to share and provides comprehensive marketing solutions to a range of clients across diverse industries.

“In a small agency, each day is dramatically different. One minute I’m preparing a tourism marketing strategy for the whole region, and the next I’m posting on social media for a local small business. For each of those clients, we’re making a difference and that’s rewarding.”

In the interests of diversity, Sonia is also keen to see more marketing professionals in the boardroom. In addition to her marketing experience, Sonia has been a director of two public companies and now acts as an Elected Councillor with HCF. Sonia is a graduate member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, having completed the Company Directors Course in 2010.
